Lately there has been a lot of gift giving … which means I’ve been busy in the studio …
I love giving handmade gifts … I’ve been doing it a very long time!
This fabric notebook was for my Aunt who recently celebrated her 60th birthday!
And a lovely card to go with it!
And this little canvas was for a 6 year old princess who had a wonderful disco party.
I am very excited to announce that I’m holding my very first mixed media workshop!! Next week!! Can’t wait to share some mixed media goodness!!
I wanted to sneak my first workshop in before Mother’s Day … I think it would make a lovely gift!!
The workshop will be held in my studio on the Central Coast of NSW.

Over the Easter long weekend I was able to find some creative time … I finished this family canvas … I loved working with all the different layers …
I found an old timber frame and decided that a makeover was necessary … loving the cracking medium at the moment … and lots of layers …
Friday night I attended the Life’s Artistry class with Donna Downey. It was so much fun!!
And because the girls were at a Girl Guide Camp and the boys were at my Mum’s, it meant that I had some studio time on Saturday morning to work on the album we started. I watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s (twice) and I do believe that it was one of my favourite crafting mornings ever!! Here are the pages that are finished so far …
I’ve been working on another canvas … and decided this time to start with the dictionary collage face … I’ve added texture paste to her hair, the yellow polka dot dress with some Tim Holtz trim and of course a princess needs some pearls … the crown is clipart printed onto patterned paper … spritzed with some Glimmer Mist.
