I’ve been working on this collage canvas over the weekend .. all it needs is Santa Hat photos and it will be finished … sunshine please!
I’ve been missing our regular monthly craft night, so it was so good to get together with Alex and Tanya. I didn’t actually get much done though (too much talking) and this card took forever, but I do kinda like it. I’m really enjoying the new Kaisercraft Christmas Carnival Clear Stamps that I got from Pages to Scrap, a new scrapbooking store at Tuggerah.
And I did get started on a Christmas Collage Canvas … lots more to do yet though!
I went into Catchy Crafts at Hornsby yesterday and found the Martha Stewart butterfly punch that I’ve been searching for. I love it!! It’s just so cute … now I’m not sure about the entire card … but I do love the butterfly!
My youngest baby turned 3 yesterday … how quickly 3 years have passed …

Last night was the inaugural Close to my Heart Craft Night… a sids and kids fundraiser …
It was a fabulous night and I can’t wait to do it again next year!! Here is a group photo taken just before the night got underway ..
We had Make & Take tables, Guessing Competitions, Raffles, Handmade Cards for sale and the most fun was the Auction! So exciting!! And the food was amazing!!
Thanks to everyone who contributed and all the lovely ladies who came along to support a fabulous charity and share some crafty goodness. We were all so happy at the end of the night when we realised we’d raised over $3,000 for sids and kids. A Fantastic Effort!!
The night didn’t pass without tears, Erin and Jacinda got up to share their stories and I was touched by the honesty and strength they both showed. Thanks so much girls … I’m so proud to be able share this with you!
I recently bought some Ice Stickles and thought it would be perfect around my Christmas tree … I like it a lot!!
My twin nephews are turning 15 today … and of course I had to make two cards … Happy Birthday to Ben and Corin!
I recently had an obsession with Tim Holtz’s Tiny Attacher .. very hard to find in Australia … and very expensive to ship from the US … but late one night I couldn’t resist it any more! And now I have it I am a very happy crafter … I love it!! The little staples are so cute … and it’s very ergonomic!
Christmas is just around the corner and I thought I would have some fun and make some cards to donate to the Close to my Heart fundraiser night coming up on Friday 16 October. We have a great night planned, and I’m getting very excited!

After my last project, I was inspired to combine some new found techniques and my new love of inchies and create these two canvases.
